OMG I am still on cloud 9… I could tell my rack from all the other hanging racks at the taxidermy with one look… Mike had some venison steak tonight and he said it was excellent!!! Lets do this again next year!!! The mount should be ready in Feb I am told. Waiting for the green rating… Amazing deer, trip and memories…
great to see this…I am 62 years old and fished and hunted the Moose River Plains area since 1966, my first year hunting. haven’t done it in years, now, but the memories are great. hunting from my own club lease, now. I remember those days in the tents…great. Haven’t you gone back since 2010?
Wierd I am just getting this notic now… We have been back every year, 2011 was fun and last year Huricain Sandy kinda messed up our plans. I was in Moose river for about 12 days, 4 of which I was luck to have Greg with me… The rest were solo in deep snow. Fun chasing those young bucks but I only found one big track that another hunter was on… Looking forward to scouting with bow Sep 27th…
